Student Life Registrars Office Retaking Classes

Retaking Classes

FOR STUDENTS WHOSE START DATE IS PRIOR TO JULY 9TH, 2014

Classes that are failed with a grade of D or lower are not automatically rescheduled the following session or trimester. Any failed grades may result in an extension of the student’s original expected graduation date.

Procedure:

  1. Make an appointment with the Registrar’s Office by emailing registrar@tribecaflashpoint.edu.
  2. The Registrar’s Office will determine if the class(es) must be offered and fit in your next trimester’s schedule.
  3. Contact Student Accounts at studentaccounts@tribecaflashpoint.edu to setup payment for the retake fee(s). If applicable, you will need to meet with Financial Aid if you intend to use financial aid to cover the retake fee.
  4. Student Accounts will process the payment for the retake fee, and once paid or a received confirmation from Financial Aid that all the necessary steps have been taken by the student, the Registrar’s Office will be notified to add the class(es) to your class schedule, which will then be viewable on the Student Portal.
