Tribeca Flashpoint College’s Sight & Sound Digital Media Youth Festival 2017

Tribeca Flashpoint College’s annual Sight & Sound Youth Media Festival is designed for high school creative talents to showcase their work in the areas of Film, Graphic Design, Recording Arts: Music/Sound Design and Animation.

This year’s festival Theme was: “HERO”

With over 60 submissions in our four digital media arts areas, our third annual Sight & Sound Youth Media Festival was a record breaking year!

The smell of popcorn was in the air as high schoolers from all over the Chicagoland area entered the 5th floor of the historic Daniel Burnham Center in downtown Chicago. As they stepped off the elevator attendees were invited to take a walk around campus, partake in several hands-on workshops led by Tribeca Flashpoint students and faculty and view their work on the big screen, in our music studio and showcased in our hallways!

Congratulations to everyone who was selected into the festival! It was a tough year for our judges as they watched, listened and enjoyed the many interpretations of this year’s theme ““HERO”.
